Winning on the road in conference is seldom an easy task. Congrats to our boys for pulling it off yesterday.

I'd love it if this woke some of our local idiots up to how this stuff goes sometimes, but next close-ish game UK has it'll be more of the same. Whatever.

Go State!

Kentucky nearly lost to the 58 ranked RPI team yesterday, Duke was manhandled by the 47 ranked RPI team today. No that big of a gap between opponents, but it is a drastically different outcome of the game. It really puts things in perspective.

um,

Duke was like down 19 points...

this was not almost us. We were up most of second half, we just didn't do a kill blow. Huge difference.

KAT made freshman mistake and that caused us to not get up to double digit. Andrew missing a bunny that should of ended, missed because of ankle/hip injury.

We play defense. We just need to do few more things better, but we were no where near badly as what Duke looked like. They got BLOWN OUT.

Not even close bro. Not even close.

Someone post the Winslow flop

this is spot on but the point is conference road wins are toughh.

Of course a and m didn't have best player and shot terribly. NC state was like 60 percent for the game. I think accurate statement is this is what could have happened to us if we played ole miss on the road and we played like we did yesterday. I just don't lump the ole miss and a and m together even though they were both ot wins against inferior teams. Yesterday was a fat worse showing for UK than the ole miss game.

Duke shot like 60% at Wisconsin so all today's game is really even out that surprising win, for a surprising loss today.

Margin of victory or loss was not the original point of this thread. My point, which was obviously missed, was that it is very difficult to win on the road in conference play. And yes, if TAMU had hit their last second attempt in overtime, we would have lost and their fans would have been rushing the court
after beating us just like the NC STATE fans did today. So yes, that was almost us yesterday.

Well, you sure missed a helluva ending!

Ulis shot from 3/4 court and it went through at the buzzer... then sort of pinballed back and forth through the goal 5 times for the rarest-or-the-rare 15-pointer!!!

CATS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Plus, he was fouled on the shot... but the crappy refs wouldn't give us the call. One of several they missed... you know how it goes.)

I will type real real slow for those who struggle with the printed word. Margin of victory has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread. Difficult road games in conference and losing on the road was the comparison. Not sure if some of you watched the game yesterday, but we played two overtimes and were very close to losing a road game. If we had lost, a court storming would have occured like Duke witnessed today. Not sure why this is so hard for some on here to comprehend. Denying the fact we almost lost yesterday doesnt mean it didnt almost happen.Glad we won but dont act like it couldnt have gone the other way very easily yesterday.

I suppose instead of "This was almost us yesterday," I'd say "I'm surprised it wasn't."

A&M was missing its best player and shot like crap (33%). By the end of the game, we were missing our first platoon and shot even worse (28%). I hope I never see this team play this horribly again. Defensive mistakes were almost humorous.

We still won. I guess that says something about this 2015 UK team.

"Andrew missing a bunny that should of ended, missed because of ankle/hip injury."

Really? Cal defended his play because of an injury that no one knew about or could tell he had from watching the game. He just missed it, which happens. And yes we almost lost. I'll take almost losing anytime and be quite happy.

every team since 197whatever Indiana has lost a game. We'll probably lose one, and that's ok so long as it's not a tournament game.

Missing all them free throws nearly cost Kentucky the victory.
Anyway Kentucky won so please end all the Duke poster child rabble rabble.
LET ME SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME. NO OTHER TEAM IN THE NATION IS GOOD AS KENTUCKY IS. To argue differently only shows the ignorance in your tiny pea brain.

No, it was more like NBA Jam hot spots. Shoot from this star and get 15 points.
