Has a tough conversation with the twins. I don't mean bench them or tell them they stink. I mean tell them the truth. They need to hear it. They are good not great college players. That for this team to win the title, it's not going to be on their backs but on the backs of the whole team. They are what they are, good kids good players, they are not stars.

It's possible, but I doubt it. And I agree. I'm a big supporter of them, but I think they need to be benched, actually. Aaron was determined to shoot, regardless of whether he was open. Cal may have even told him to take the shot, but hell, you've got to be open. Lyles saved him.
I don't think they drive the rim as much as last year. Maybe I'm wrong but they were so effective doing that. They're so big that they can't be stopped on the drive.
Let's not forget they are the reason we've won some games. In this particular game they were off, but fortunately we've got other players. Today it was they who helped us win. Next game it may very well be Aaron or Andrew. I agree the Harrison's don't look like they're going to be the great college players some said, but they are still two very important part of this team. As long as Booker, Lyles, and Ulis continue to play lots of mins I believe we'll always find someone to get it done.
Agree with the OP. There are six or seven NBA players that can also contribute and if they refuse to pass or create for anyone but themselves and refuse to have anything less than exceptional attitudes then we will never be a championship team.
Cal put this team in Andrew's hands in August. Cal is stubborn as a mule and that's part of the reason we are so good but I think he is going to ride Andrew until he absolutely can't anymore. I don't think the other players respect Andrew's leadership but I could be completely wrong I am not an insider just a fan.

When UK struggles, it's always because of the twins. When they win, it's in spite of them. The refs are always terrible. The announcers always suck and are anti-UK.Originally posted by irishcat1965:

Maybe so, BUT are they getting ours...You know they are not and that is the big question?...Why...Cal has got to have this team force its will on teams and stop letting them dictate...And the op is right...The twins are just not what they are billed to be and Cal needs to stop covering for them...
