Can’t say enough about how good Wagner is becoming. I now love when the ball is in his hands. Add in Shepp and Dilly and we have 3 solid point guards. That especially pays dividends at the end of close games. Bradshaw is going to be a force. Thiero is an incredible glue guy. Reeves seems to struggle in big games, but I still love his scoring ability. Mitchell is solid for what he does. And just wait till Edwards really figures it out

I feel pretty much like you do. We haven't seen close to what this team can be. Bradshaw has only played 3 games, Onyenso did well in his first game and if we ever get Z in there, sky is the limit. I challenge anyone to have three guards like Wagner, Sheppard and Dillingham and I feel they will just get better. If Edwards ever reaches his potential, OMG!
Quietly optimistic greater things are to come from them individually and collectively. Especially given these young cats' work ethic. Keep the nose to the grindstone, stay tough in the OOC pre conference schedule and learn the hard lessons in the SEC, which will battle test this team well. Love the team chemistry. Reed Sheppard is the straw that stirs this team's drink. He just makes everyone else better, and on this team, that is really saying something.

If Edwards could find his total game Cats go to a different level.
We are 2-3 deep at every position now. So many interchangeable pieces which is a recipe for a deep run. We have enough firepower on offense that as long as we keep improving on the defensive end we could be scary good by seasons end.
Best thing is even if 1-2 guys are cold on any given night we have others to pick up the slack. Very few teams in the country are as deep as we are.

I agree, I think he might need to visit the treadmill. He should be a deer out there.
I don't have much confidence in that happening. I just don't see what elite skill set he has. With Bradshaw back and Thiero playing well, Edwards is going to be seeing more of these 10-15 minute games.
Mitchell gives this team a lot of versatility. He can be effective in multiple ways.

Big O is a guy that you can use when Mitchell or Bradshaw gets in foul trouble or just needs a break. We drop off offensively with him, but remain very solid on D.
Theiro is a stud. High motor and plays very smart. Strong, athletic, and pretty skilled.
Edwards —has his moments. Tremendous potential. Still trying to find his way. When he does, it will only make us better.
Reeves. Has the potential to go off from behind the arc at anytime. Defenses have to be aware of him. Even if he is not having a great game, he’s still impacting the game by keeping defenders occupied by his three point threat.
Wagner has arrived. Not to say he doesn’t have room for improvement, but he is a big time player.
Dillingham does some next level stuff. At times, it’s like Neo in the Matrix. Other times, he screws up. I can live with some mistakes.
Shep. Right now he may be one of the best all around guards in the country. He made some mistakes tonight as well, but he also made some very high IQ plays coupled with high effort plays to erase some of his mistakes.
