Just looking at the future and making lots of positive assumptions because I am still JACKED UP from last night. I am going to assume:
- We jump ALL six of the teams ranked ahead of us: Texas AM, Notre Dame, Baylor, Florida, Pitt, Wisconsin. That will put us at #14 tomorrow.
- We handle Youngstown and NIU
Looking at the next two weeks of games for teams still ahead of us, I see four potential upsets, although two of them depend on Jimbo pulling his head out of his overpaid arse:
Week 3 - Washington over Michigan St. and TAMU over Miami,
Week 4 - Wake Forest over Clemson and TAMU over Arkansas,
While none of those mught happen, all 4 of those underdogs are at home, so maybe the stars will align.
Regardless, I see UK being anywhere from #10 to #14 headed into Oxford. Here's the real stretch, though. Let's pump some sunshine:
A win in Oxford would make us a good case to be in the Top 8 because Week 5 also has NC St at Clemson, OK St at Baylor, and Bama/Arkansas.
Therefore, I have decided this will all unfold to my desires, with sound wins against SCar and Ms St....we WILL be 7-0 and #5 in the country headed into Knoxville.
