For you guys who know a little bit about the kid. What's your opinion of him? Skill wise, potential, etc?

USAian, First Nation, New Zealander, Maori, Australian, Haitian, Canadian, AND Kentuckian. (Have I forgotten anyone?)

It's getting like the friggin' UN over there on Rose Street.

He is a total bruiser and is skilled enough to one day be a solid bench guy for the NBA IMO . He can make the 15 footer and has decent foot work . But no one is going to push this kid off them block when he wants to post up . I think he is a 3 year player ( though he won't play his first year unless we have an injury.)

Why wouldn't he play? I don't think Cal signs him to sit this year.

The UK frontline for next season is shaping up wonderfully, and I'm not sold on the Lee leaving just yet. If for some reason Lee returned, I think UK's frontline would be among the elite next year. They wouldn't have a transcendent player like Giles or Skal, but they'd have more depth in the frontline than virtually everyone in a season that won't feature very many quality bigmen.

7'0" - Humphries
6'11" - Killeya-Jones
6'9" - Gabriel
6'9" - Lee
6'9" - Wynyard
6'9" - Willis

While everyone's been focused on the guards recently, Cal has slowly been stockpiling an assortment of NBA and fringe-NBA skilled bigmen who will be able to offer a little bit of everything next season.

Good grief, Houchens doesn't carry that much beef. BTW, I think the ever improving Lee will be gone after this year. #potential

Yeah, I'm not sure where Lee or Willis would be going.

I could bring up Daniel Orton, but I'm not going to. Instead, I'll just say that I'm always impressed by shooting, and Willis can definitely shoot. And Lee is incredibly quick and graceful for a very tall person, and he's improved amazingly over the summer. Last years player of the year probably wouldn't have escaped some people's scoffing and summary judgments.

Scoffing and summary judgments get what weight they have from the expertise of the scoffer and summary judgment maker. You may have noticed that discussion boards are just knee deep in expertise.

Or that games against Albany and NJIT arent indicative of whats going to play out. Mark Coury had a nice 11 and 11 game against Seattle one time.

Wearing the same number as MKG AND Heshimu Evans...Must be the "tough guy" #, and I hope it stays that way.

On a side note, I'm suprised no one mentioned the not so L1C4 way of expression. Get this kid a hooker.

"A season"?
