This recruitment stinks a lot like the Terrence Clarke recruitment where the G League was trying to steal him. Clarke still came to UK but got exposed early and sat out all year with an “ankle sprain.” Hope AB’s season goes better than TC’s.
Clarke and Boston were the two recruits that really screwed us over. They were supposed to be a super elite duo that got us back to the top and they stunk, plus Askew ughhhh.

I think we tend to sometimes undersell just how loyal his Kentucky guys are to him.
Cal could steer dudes towards or away from Rich Paul just the same as Rich Paul could steer guys towards or away from Kentucky.

I'll never forget the look on Cal's face during the Richmond game where Askew couldn't make a simple entry pass to the post. Cal had a look on his face like he never scouted Askew and was surprised at how bad he was. Askew was a Joel Justus special.
