Last week the new Kentucky-themed Nike Free’s sent the Big Blue Nation into a frenzy. Stores were sold out within hours of the Friday morning release. Understandably so, just look how beautiful those bad boys are.

One UK fan, Brad Marshall, ordered a pair before they were sold out. When he received his package from Fanatics, the box adorned in “UK” revealed a surprise.

Cruel and unusual punishment. I am sorry you had to be let down in such excruciating fashion, Brad. No one should have to go through this atrocity alone.​

Mr. Marshall did a make a good point though, “This is probably the only way they could get rid of all of those ugly ass Duke shoes.”

I ordered one of those UK Regional Champions hat after the FF loss so I could have at least something to remember the season by, and lo and behold, they sent me a dook hat. On the day dook played in the championship. I ordered it from the UK store. I contemplated burning it but decided to return it and got a UK hat.

they are thin and cheaply made, albeit, I'm paying for what's on them!
