So when does Monk climb aboard?

How is Ulis gona after this year a lock? He's going to be a second rounder( not gaurenteed money) no matter what year he comes out. His stock won't get any higher but I don't see it getting any lower. So why not stay at UK, work on your game, win multiple national championships, enjoy the college experience while you can because you only get that one chance. Once you leave you can never be a college athlete again. He could also break all the point guard records. He could also get his degree so when his NBA career is over he can have something else to fall back on. He could probably get his degree in 3 years
You answered your own question. He'll maximize his draft stock after this year. He's like the majority of kids that come to uk. He wants to play in the NBA. It's always possible he comes back next year but if he does, it's because something didn't go according to plan.

Andrew should have. Hawkins? Do you really, objectively, watch Briscoe and think one and done?

Hawkins is the whole list, and he's a 3 star who is only here because he's an in state kid.

All of the 4 and 5 star guards that Cal has brought in have left within 2 years. Barring some unforeseen circumstance, Briscoe doesn't figure to break that trend.

One and done? Probably. Not of the John Wall variety, but certainly in the mold of Marquis Teague or Archie Goodwin.

Might be here two years but probably one and done, I sez. Three years seems dubious at best.

More likely he is a tweak and/or a light bulb moment away from beast mode. I think he has more opportunities to raise his ceiling than problems.

Cal is just keying the right buttons to polish this jewel proper.

yes but if you are a second rounder you aren't gaurenteed any money meaning maybe you only make 50,000 to 100,000 in your whole bball career. Then what are you going to do after that, you don't have a degree. I understand first rounders leaving but if you are a second round draft pick you have no business leaving early unless your family is in desperate need of money IMO

Ulis is what he is. If he makes it, he is a year closer to a bigger contract. If he doesn't he can come back and get his degree. I can't blame him either way.

If Monk does commit UK not only has an NBA level backcourt but a starting NBA level backcourt.
