So how does Stoops and UK spin Marrow to Louisville ?

He was never here to coach the tight ends man. He was here to recruit and he did it very well. Anyone saying this is no big deal is doing some serious mental gymnastics to downplay what happened
I see it as a positive because it shows we are coming to the end of the Stoops era. Marrow knows Stoops ship and jumped ship.

Its a slap in the face to the Ky FB program, especially going to the Ville he could have gone anywhere, but to the Ville is the ultimate slap in the face.

Name the guys the last few years that he recruited that made a positive impact on the team. The last guy that started this said it was only place to get them here not develop them. Sorry I have seen more that has impacted UK negatively than positively the last few years.

That was going to happen regardless. Do you see it as a positive that uk was punched in the gut by its rival? You know this will make said rival better right? Is that a positive too?

Certainly explains why recruiting has been so slow and nothing at all from Ohio. Stoops needs to find a young successful recruiter who is willing to gamble a bit on Stoops being in Lexington in 2026 (which I personally doubt)

Don't necessarily agree that this will help UofL recruiting in OH. When at UK, Vince could sell closest-to-home SEC school to OH recruits. Is a hot commodity OH kid going to play at UofL in the 2nd tier ACC vs. OSU, MI, PA St, Iowa, WI - hell, OR, USC, et al? IMO, pretty big drop off from B10/SEC to ACC regardless of geography. It will be interesting to see if UofL sees an uptick in kids from B10 country. BTW, historically, their best players have come from KY and FL, for the most part.

I get it when it comes to sports rivalries, but at his age, maybe he thinks this is simply a better job with less stress. Besides, he has a long history with Brohm.
