I still don't really know why everyone loves these tournaments. IMO, it is too many games too quickly. More chance for bodies to break down, and if your team isn't playing well (or gassed, or upset from a big loss) then you could be in for something like Uconn just had, which is 3 in a row. I know that's not likely, but I also believe Uconn would almost for sure win one of those if they spaced them out.
Now maybe if this was just a championship series like the CC is, where you play a couple of set games before going home, sure. And cool for the fans I guess, but I don't see these tournaments actually helping the teams at all. Too chaotic and up for grabs for my liking. (Which yes I understand the NCAAT is similarly chaotic.)
