Skal is going to be more than fine, he's going to be awesome. It's why I started this thread. He played timid tonight but he did some things that showed he has a high skill set. He just needs to find his rhythm. He knows he has trouble staying out of foul trouble so he's trying to play under control but there's a fine line between under control and timid. He will get it. I can't wait to see how he plays tomorrow night.Doubt Skal was thinking about Duke tonight.
This was the season opener and we play another game before them.
Hess is a mess, and I thought he sat quite a bit as well, but he played 30 minutes.
He definitely needs to be more physical in the post and assert his will down there.
But as you stated, we have seen most of our bigs progress very well as the season goes on.
I think he will be fine.
