Well, thank goodness for this! Ah! I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. GOODMAN has confirmed that Skal is cleared! So, it's official now, I guess.

This is a good point blueblood. If he were not "fully" cleared, UK wouldn't have played him Monday night. So, what is the truth here? The truth is that Goodman has just now been able to "personally" confirm this. Skal was already fully cleared. Goodman just didn't know it.
But the NCAA won't comment on players' eligibility, remember? The only way this gets out is through some kind of leak. It's not like the NCAA releases a list of players that are cleared on a weekly basis. They tell the players when they're cleared. That's it. So, once again, Goodman is the one who is behind but, since he's a smug, self-important little man, he acts like everyone else was jumping the gun.

The reason Goodman wasn't able to confirm anything himself was because no one at Kentucky will give him a scoop. Now, had someone like Katz inquired, ESPN would have been able to report this when everyone else did.

Jeff could have ignored the situation forever after his ridiculous tweet that everyone else said he was eligible and Jeff refuted it. So, kudos for addressing the situaton.
But then he goes into Tool Jeff mode. No, no no. When I said he wasn't eligible, he wasn't. As if he is somehow the sole authority over these things. Just pony up and say you're salty, brah
