What that sentence implies is that a smart, and ambitious person of color could never do anything in America with his career and life except go to jail, if he wasn't 6'9" and had no basketball skills. It disparages every person of color. It's like saying in 1965, as an SEC coach allegedly said, "I could win basketball games too if they let me recruit from the penitentiary."

Sounds like you are assuming and we all know what happens when you assume.

LeBron may be many things, but smart isn’t one of them. The guy is a total hypocrite regarding China and human rights/justice. Furthermore, you have no way of knowing if LeBron is a naturally ambitious person or not. It’s easy to be ambitious when you have a billion dollars.

You are just as guilty of reaching and making assumptions as the poster who got you riled up.

I have checked the forum twice but have not posted since Apr 7 when I made the following post:

I don’t mind opposing viewpoints to my posts. But I have noticed the lack of courtesy exhibited by a minority of posters, cursing, calling people names etc which are not necessary to state your opinion. This has led me to make a decision as a Christian man to spend my time doing more productive things.

There are good people posting who obviously love UK basketball and articulate their opinion in a respectful way. I enjoy their commentary but the minority have ruined this site for me. I will just enjoy watching and rooting for our guys next season!

I am usually occupied with other sports like football and baseball, or other activities I enjoy like reading or going on walks.

2005-2006 - I did two tours to Iraq those years, the days were long and no real internet, but didn’t waste my time on RR with the time I had on line. I can’t really remember much of those years still. Of course I didn’t join until 2007, I was on some others under the Username BarnCat, not much of a poster then either.

On everyday during the season. Once a week or so during the offseason.
I'm amazed how so many of you get on here everyday during the offseason.
There is not one thing you can do about who transfers in or out.
I've never gave 2 shits about recruiting. 5 stars mean nothing to me. Prove it on the court in a college game for a entire season.
Every year on here I hear about how this 5 star class is going to dominate. Yet We still continue to lose to inferior opponents.

I visit everyday...when they kneeled before our flag that so many have died to protect and to let us live in freedom. I decided that I did not want anything more to do with Kentucky basketball as long as the Coach who committed that act was here, I called to cancel my subscription but was offered a period of time to think it over, so for about three months I did not look at anything UK Basketball. I decided to continue and should they do that again that would be a higher price than I would ant to pay to be a Kentucky fan and luckily they didn't do that again. I dont post as much as I did prior to that but enjoy coming on and seeing if anything new is going on. Really enjoy hearing from the guys that have their finger on the pulse of UK Basketball.
