For those of you keeping track. In the last few weeks we had a total solar eclipse traverse the width of the US. This was followed by Cat4 hurricane Harvey and potential Cat5-6 hurricane Irma targeting major population centers. You people better wake from your slumber and get right with God.

Still waiting on final numbers from that devastating eclipse. I'd imagine the death toll and property destruction totals are going to be pretty staggering. Your god must be pissed!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he never said it was based on nationality. God is a god of wrath, he punishes sin and has always punished lands when their iniquity is full. I used to think America was similar to ancient Israel in a lot of ways..last decade I've been thinking closer to Sodom and Gomorrah.
A lot of so called Christians don't even know these things because they've been listening to preachers who teach feel good, life coach, motivational seminars instead of the word of God and gospel. That was all prophesied though. 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they draw to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

Billy has God drawing crosshairs on America. Did you interpret that differently? Religion evolved from man's desire to explain our existence and natural phenomenons. We wrote the Bible. Do you believe everything you read? Can't you see the vulnerability of past civilizations?

I guess I should point out that I used to have similar views since it seems like you're an arrogant one who probably thinks most Christians are foreign to these concepts that everybody has heard their entire lives, man created God..etc etc etc. Really, all it takes it connecting some dots to know what the truth is but people like you seem to have closed your mind completely and bought the propaganda that's going to cost you eternity.

Ok. I know better than to argue religion. It's pointless. But arrogant? I don't claim to have a personal relationship with the creator(s) of the universe. I don't claim to know what happens when we die. I don't think I know who deserves to burn in hell. I just live by the Golden Rule, and am thankful to live in America. Mother Nature can be loving and nurturing and beautiful but she still kicks our asses indiscriminately anytime she wants. I accept that without blaming it on a wrathful god who magically knows if I voted for someone he doesn't like. And I don't need your pity, brother, or your prayers. Peace.
