UPDATE: Per the fiancé of Derek Willis (Arapaho), he has actually agreed to a Summer League deal with the Detroit Pistons, not the Heat.

Not that I think Willis will make a roster and last a long time in the league, but I understand why the kid has a shot with someone. The guy is 6'9 and can shoot the ball from deep. Those type of guys always has a few shots of making someone's roster. If the kid could just handle the ball, it wouldn't be a question of playing basketball as a pro. I don't know what to think about how Willis will defend his man in the NBA. It might not be pretty. I hope the kid can make a roster and become a good role player off the bench during his career.

Maybe he just doesn't do social media. My wife does the social media way more than I do as well. She is the one that usually posts pictures or info that needs to go out to family and friends and I barely even look or post on Facebook unless I'm extremely bored. Who knows, she might even be his manager/assistant. What did she major in?
