Conference Notes
·Six teams are receiving mention in the Associated Press Top 25 highlighted by Tennessee (7th), Auburn (8th), Kentucky (9th) and Mississippi State (22nd). Arkansas and Florida are receiving votes.
·Nine SEC schools rank in the Top 75 of the NCAA’s NET rankings – Auburn (7th), Tennessee (12th), Kentucky (23rd), Mississippi State (32nd), Arkansas (36th), LSU (53rd), Florida (65th), Vanderbilt (66th) and Ole Miss (71st).
·Three SEC basketball players were named candidates for the 2018-19 Senior CLASS Award – Kentucky’s Reid Travis, Mississippi State’s Aric Holman and South Carolina’s Chris Silva.
·Seven SEC schools have recruiting classes that rank in the Top 25 of ESPN.com’s national rankings – Kentucky (2), LSU (5), Vanderbilt (9), Florida (18), Alabama (20), Mississippi State (22) and Arkansas (25).

Team/Individual Notes
·SEC Player of the Week – Arkansas guard Isaiah Joe, a 6-foot-5, 167-pound freshman from Fort Smith, Ark., scored a career-high 34 points in leading the Razorbacks to a win over FIU. Joe went 10-for-13 from 3-point range and that 76.4 percentage ties for the best percentage in SEC history for those that made at least 10 in a game. His 34 points scored is tied for the second-most by a freshman in Arkansas history. He started the game going 1-for-3 from 3-point range then made six straight attempts. Joe finished the game making 9-of-his-last-10 3-pointers.
·SEC Freshman of the Week – Florida guard Andrew Nembhard, a 6-foot-5, 191-pound freshman from Aurora, Ontario, Canada, played a near-flawless floor game with 11 assists and no turnovers in 22 minutes against North Florida. He had seven of his assists at the break, having dished on five of the team’s first eight field goals. In the last two games, Nembhard has 18 assists and zero turnovers. With the 11 assists against North Florida, he became the eighth SEC player and second SEC freshman since 1996-97 to have 11+ assists and zero turnovers in a game.
·Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes passed John Wooden on the all-time D-I wins list on Nov. 21. Barnes has posted 666 wins in his 32-year career.
·Auburn’s Bryce Brown’s 267 career 3-pointers broke Wesley Person’s (262 from 1990-94) school record.
·Kentucky leads the nation in rebounding margin (+16.8 rpg).
·Auburn leads the nation in scoring margin (+26.4 ppg). The Tigers also rank second nationally in offensive rebounds (17.00 orpg).
·Arkansas’ Daniel Gafford has converted 73.0 percent of his field goals (46-of-63) which leads the SEC and ranks fourth in the nation.
·LSU’s Tremont Waters is averaging 3.25 steals per game which ranks second nationally.
