2 former D1 head coaches now in the 11th region. Pretty impressive.
Man Alan is looking rough there congrats Sean Woods man what could have been. My father played golf with Bobby hurley in Florida and he told him that hill was suppose to have thrown the ball to him and shoot one from half court and hill did not do what rat face told him to do oh well what ifs
Murray Garvin, coach at Douglass, was the head coach at South Carolina State for a while
Roger Harden coaches at a a couple of counties over from me. He is boys basketball coach at Carroll county High School
Murray played his high school ball at Pikeville High School
Hope he does well, as he seems like a solid dude. He also comes off as a guy that aint gonna baby his players.
Got dumped at Morehead for allegedly abusing players.
Roger coached a D1 basketball program?
We know he played D1, didn't know he coached a D1
Given the past abusive coaching issues, I hope he has mellowed out if he is going to be entrusted with younger folks now.
Looks happy and old to me. Can’t ask for much more than that.
I don't think he coached a division 1 he did coach at Williamstown High School in my county a few years ago before resigning to take the Carroll County gig. I just brought him up because everyone was talking about former players coaching high school and he was one of the best!
Somebody should go all Beavis on him & tell him to "Get a haircut hippie."
I had forgotten what he did or allegedly did. Either way I'd say he's learned a few things since then
