Roster won't be complete until...

It's looking more like the staff may take a wait and see approach to finalizing the roster. With recent names surfacing like Dame Sarr, Jamir Watkins, and others, it appears BBN may need to practice patience before all spots are filled.

Pope has cast a wide net and the staff is doing due diligence so they can get a feel for all available players. Personally, I don't think it would be prudent to not have an opening for a potential player of this talent. However, time can be of the essence dealing with the transfer portal.

So what say you BBN, will Pope solidfy the roster sooner or later than the draft deadline?

I like the idea of being patient and extremely selective at this point, because we have a very good roster already next year.

Maybe even save a scholarship (or 2?) I can see the wisdom in filling it up for 15, but holding onto one is a nice "break in case of fire" ... just in case.

We got players but it takes time to develop team chemistry and such to help offset the roster turnover every year. Noah, Perry, Garrison and Oweh are crucial to a F4 run and helping lead the way til the new guys see the way things run in our program. Atleast they been around a season and know the way Pope wants to run things. We definitely got a good mix and they have to December to form a SEC caliber team.

Agreed, and as much as I want a shooter, there are other skill sets that could add meaningful depth to our roster.
