Reeves Decision

No idea. Given your obvious basketball inexperience beyond video games and church league, I’m thinking you can enlighten us.
Anyone that defends Calipari after what they have seen since halftime of the 2015 FF game and especially the ladt 3 years, is pretty freaking oblivious.

I feel like I have to further explain… .the paragraph above, is a description of you.

I feel like I'm chatting with a uNC basketball player about going to class. He thinks he did, he has proof he did, but he didn't.

Thanks for confirming that you know nothing and me or Ky basketball. I’m sorry to hear that your mental health was damaged by 2015. You’d have never survived 1984. You really should find a sport more suited to your condition. Do they have PlayStation and church league for bowling?

You could have saved some time and stupidity by just saying: "I love John Calipari more than I love UK basketball"

Imagine if you didn’t have any of them little shits! You would be set..
Keep in mind, at 100K, with no dependents, he would be only get about $65-70K of that after taxes. That is $5500-6000/mo. Rent alone is close to 20% of that, a house payment even more.

That would be a lie though. It must seem that way to you through the cloud of blind rage and seething hatred of the man. Bowling Jeffy.
But it’s not a lie. You make excuses for Cal at every turn. You blame the players for failures and give Cal a pat on the back for everything.

The fact that you can’t even recognize what you are, is really sad.

$100k would be anemic if that was your combined household income. If your spouse works and is supplementing your $100k earnings, you're going to make out pretty well.

Of course, that depends on your lifestyle, mortgage, location and dependents.

Don't live 'too high on the hog' and you'll be fine.

Purportedly Reeves’ NIL valuation is around $32,000 currently although I can’t verify that because I’m not paying for an on3 subscription.

Something a college kid could blow through in a semester if his folks don’t take it away from him.

Should I get you a link for custom bowling balls? You are really showing your belief in self contrived fantasy.

My wife and son and I live very comfortably on less than 100K a year. And we blow a lot of money on frivolous things, IMHO. We could save a ton of money if we didn’t like to eat out a lot.

Amazing that anyone can pretend they're not concerned about the state of our roster. We have an incredible freshman class coming in and we're in danger of wasting their 1 year here with a roster that's full of holes and with little depth.

We have SEVEN players that we know will be back. We're hoping to get Reeves. We're almost certainly not getting Livingston back, and flip a coin on Oscar. We might get the one transfer we have had reports of us seriously courting. If Oscar stays in the draft, even if we get Reeves and Johnson, we're at 9 players and hurting for depth/experience inside and very very shaky with outside shooting. I want to see that we're seriously pursuing more pieces. I'm tired of thin rosters where we're an injury or two away from barely fielding a team.

really don't understand how a HOF "coach" is at ease with this situation either.........
either he doesn't care at all about the university & its fans or he has guys lined up.
Personally, I don't think that he has a plan & will just fly by the seat of his pants letting the fans suffer through another lousy season, anxiously awaiting his departure.

So.....coaches are not allowed to yell now?

What a freaking pansy woke generation we live in.....

My wife and I put two kids through college, one at UK and one at Michigan state, plus a 2 year masters program at Wayne state and we made a combined $125k. I think that's pretty good.

Back in the 90's, we were pretty poor, but it never bothered us. We lived within our means.

The more money you make, the more you spend and the more they tax you.

Now, my brother and his wife, if they have $100.00 in their pocket, they'll find a way to spend $200.00, then ask for a loan to help them out. That's normal behavior for them and they have very little to show for the money they have dpent, just a cluttered house, full of collectables they can't touch. Weird.

If you live within your means, you can be very happy making less than 100k combined, it just sucks when you have to work 60+ hours a week to make such little money.

You haven't learned about bass yet? He's that guy.
I'm not sure there is anyone on this board that has toyed with Bassboy more than I have.

He's gotten better, I used to make him corner himself, then he'd get mad and go radio silent for a while, then slither back in hoping I didn’t see him. Oh the good ole days.

Now he's just a dipshit.

Haha, I can just about guarantee you that I am the most impatient person I know, but when I look at Bass, I just can't take him serious enough to lose my patience with him.

Honestly, it's possible there are only 45 cards in his deck.

Everyone should find a way to make enough and invest at least 25% of you Gross income per year. Invest in cash flowing assets. That way people cab can retire in their 30, 40s or 50s instead of probably not having enough for retirement at 65. Saving/investing is a must for financial freedom

Yeah, we have been doing that and were doing very well, but we had an event that took 5 years to get through and it drained our savings. Soooo we're nearly starting over now.

I’m a teacher. I will be 51 in August. I can retire this time next year, if I so choose, with 27 years in. I will likely stay 30 years and retire at 55.

I live in rural western Kentucky. Lower cost of living. Cars paid off. House almost paid off. Got my son’s college to pay for starting in about 7 years, but that’s about it. God has blessed us and I have never worried about money, because the Bible says not to. God will take care of us.

But I humbly say that this, as with everything, is contingent upon what the good Lord has in store for me. But my plan is to retire at 55 with 30 years in.

So it’s possible, in the right situations, to live on 100K or less and still retire at a relatively young age.
