I can't believe any player could take two full seasons of this version of Calipari.
Everything he says is for effect, his systems are outdated by 35 years, he acts like he is above everything and everyone and his yelling during games is an absolute clown show.

Even then I would LOVE to make 100K a year and even though they would take taxes out I would be pefectly fine with that. Not everyone on this board makes a ton of cash.

Not many do.

100k, room and board, tons of free living expenses, practice facility at your back door, training facility (weights and more) at your back door. 10 to 12 months of free work to get ready for the next step plus 100k is more like 150k.

Sounds terrible.

100k is the new 50k. It’s not much to live off of anymore
You guys don’t realize how blessed you are if you think a 100k is barely enough to live on. Where I live, in rural Kentucky, that’s really good money.

I’m a teacher, and I feel like I am pretty well off hovering at that 50k range.

I guess it depends on your lifestyle as well. I don’t have to have steak every day and am just fine driving my 2006 Honda Accord.

And I am as happy as can be.

I’m just saying that 100k was a lot more 10 - 15 years ago even than it is today . Everything if life from housing, food gas, etc has drastically increased. But the median salary has very slowly gone up over time

Sure. Every amount of money was more 10-15 years ago.

But getting 100K+ to bounce a ball on the big stage at UK is still pretty good when your other options are Greece and Spain.

I assume he's in line for multiple hundreds of thousands, but I'm just guessing.

And to just go to school and play basketball. Don't forget the free education, which would obviously help down the road.

Coaches yell. Well maybe not in church league.

What other coaches do you see screaming all game long like Cal does?
Most of them. Coaches yell. Athletes expect it. I think you are just displaying your seething personal hate for the man. It probably bothers you that he’s not in a suit or maybe keeps his fingernails too long? What other petty observations you have for us today?
