Pretty bad when your second season hasn't officially started and you are on Gary Parrish's hot seat list

After last season anyone would be.

4 wins is tough to do. Uk won 9 and didn't get to play most of its normal cupcakes. If they play those and get some experience probably win a few more of the close sec games they lost as well.

UL got their whole schedule and won 4.

Cal should be #6 on the list. If he wins something like 22 to 23 games this year and bows out early, UK won't fire him, but the pressure cooker will be overwhelming.

This is a "Cal-style" team: young, elite players, multiple ball handlers, future lottery picks.

All we've heard for the last few years is how Cal just needs to get those types of players again. Well, now he has them. If he can't return UK to glory with the type of team that brought Calipari success from 2009-2017, it will likely never happen for him again here.

This is a put up or shut up type season.
