Thought Obama ended up doing an OK job ultimately. Voted for him the 2nd time.
Main thing that has pushed me left is empathy for others.
-I don't hate illegal immigrants, i think it should be managed differently but the criminal victimizing was a big red flag for me.
-The continued pursuit of LGB ppl, if they want to love each other it doesn't bother me, I'm not gonna hate on them for it.
-Trumps leadership style is the antithesis of my belief of what govt officials should behave and lead. Was a big Rubio guy on his run, liked Nikki Haley in this primary.
My biggest belief is that the middle class is getting purposely eroded,

~Obama set race relations back decades, and the recent woke culture since Floyd only added fuel to his fire he set. He was a foreign policy disaster and his second term didn't produce the economic prosperity he promised.
~Criminal victimizing.....well, they are coming here illegally, many of them w/ records. That should be self explanatory.
~Pursuit of LGB? No one is pursuing them. Asinine comment.
~Trump's style is what is needed in contrast to the gov red tape that has been the norm for far too long, and they have gotten away with it...both sides. You're pretty much a numb nut if you wanted more of the same.
~This conspiracy theory is BS and without merit.

The Epstein list/info/file has likely been completely wiped of anything incriminating to top-level folks. Some small-fish may be used as sacrificial lambs, but this isn’t going to result in what we want and what is, by all accounts, warranted. Just be prepared.
No I’m saying the feds have used that shit to blackmail people.

I 100% agree with you that we aren’t getting this list.

I think my big worry is if you cut taxes and the deficit still grows that now we're getting really limited on the fiscal possibilities to jump start the economy if needed.
Deficit larger and now you need to print money for govt jump start projects, bad combo for the american tax payer.
You are so stupid, naive, or from generational family earnings that you think the government jumpstarts the economy, and isn’t a hindrance.

Which hand outs specifically?
lower corporate tax rates then needed to compete on the global stage
tax laws around stock buy backs
prob say an overall review of tax credits and their impact (i've worked in renewable fuels and seen how these can skew, make, or break a market)
preferential tax laws around executive compensation package tax doges.

What corporate tax policies do you think should be addressed to minimize the tax games? depreciation or what?

government often times provides the foundation for fledging industries to navigate through markets who would try to snuff them out before they can approach mature competition.
governments role is to protect its citizens and provide stable business environments for businesses and industries to succeed.

yall ever notice how everyone's first reaction is to be aggressive and a jerk about different opinions on here.
yall need to chill on being buttheads, the social media bots have conditioned you to just respond with anger to everything.

Honest question... do you think Trump will reduce the national debt in his four years in office? It currently is around 36.5 trillion. Will it be higher and lower than that in January of 2029? IIRC, Clinton was the last to have a balanced budget and he only did it for a year.

@sambowieshin and the very concerned about disinformation crowd are no where to be found, bc its the dnc doing it

Sam, would've 100% been duped by it too

Pot.... Meet Kettle.

You left out the part where Europe and Ukraine told him to kiss their azz.
They would move forward without any US help.
He has no other choice but to follow their lead. 🤣
He does deserve some credit for accidentally forcing Putin into negotiations. Problem for TrumPutin is NATO and Ukraine said FU to your little plan.
Because Trump sided with Putin without involving NATO/Ukraine he inadvertently united Europe/NATO as one.
Now it has become obvious to Putin he can't take Ukraine for a few earth metals given to Trump. Europe and all of NATO said F no to that one sided clusterfu** Trump plan.
Trump and Putin got played by NATO and Ukraine.

We should do a poll and lock it so we can all make fun of each other later.

This one is at the top of the list so far of one the most corrupt, insane sh-t DOGE has ended. 18 million a month to keep an empty facility open. Portfolio grew from 8 million to 520 million in 3 years.

US Attorney Ed Martin is now investigating this contract.

As a result, Family Endeavors’ cash and portfolio of investments grew from $8.3M in 2020 to $520.4M in 2023.

Since March 2024, HHS has paid ~$18M/month to keep the Pecos facility open despite sitting empty.

With national licensed facility occupancy now below 20%, HHS was able to terminate this contract, saving taxpayers over $215M annually.

How much higher than 21% do you want to go for federal taxes? That’s at or above global average (certainly when you account for state taxes).

Why should we tax or prevent corporations from returning capital to shareholders? If I’m highly confident in my business, and you’re willing to sell me your shares for market value, why should I be prevented or taxed if I use my excess cash or borrowings to invest in my own company rather than hold the capital elsewhere?

Green energy scam credit should all be eliminated. Most credits should be (coupled with much lower taxes).

Which executive compensation tax dodges?

I generally think the tax burden in our country is too high. Wrong guy to talk to if you want me to “minimize tax games”.

Trust me, this is how they respond. If you don’t agree with dear leader, President Musk, or Catturd then they’ll immediately call you a pedophile and say you hate this country.

No, government NEVER does that. Government ALWAYS gets paid off by the BIG industries to squeeze out the little guy.

hahahahaha look who suddenly gives a hot sht about the national debt.

Clinton only did it because the REPUBLICAN CONGRESS led by NEWT GINGRICH passed a balanced budget amendment AND they allowed a one time conversion of everyone's 401ks to Roth IRAs that year. The resulting windfall was a surplus and Clinton danced in the endzone like he invented the damn thing.

I think we’re about to go to a different type of economy, there’s a reason they’re going to Ft Knox.

Yall ever notice how Liberals gaslight conservatives when every liberal reaction is to knowingly lie, not post original thoughts, not even read their own links or check their own "facts", or refuse to answer quesrions at all on here?

They gaslight and act like we're being buttheads, when we're just tired of the same old liberal programming we could get from CNN.

You are an insecure dude. I have never commented one way or the other about the debt. You have zero idea of how I feel or don’t feel about the debt. I bring it up because it is the hot topic these days on the board. I brought up Clinton to illustrate how long it has been to balance a budget. 25+ years Let that sink in. We have had two republicans and two democrats since that and they haven’t been able to accomplish it. It’s a tough thing to do. That is the point. Finally I noticed you didn’t bother to answer the question

Seems to me there are some big ass fish from both sides of the aisle or it would have been released already.
Dems and Pubs come out smelling like sh** equally.
Color me shocked.
