If sex and biology are different, then why do so many ppl rush to change their sex to match their biology? If they were born that way is essentially the argument, then it falls short every time. And why do they have to change anything to align to an evil patriarchial concept?
Sex and biology aren’t different, I literally said that sex was the term used to describe biology. They change their gender which is a social term. Some people may go through different procedures for their sex to match their gender but frankly, it’s expensive and some people may not view it as necessary if they choose to feel that way. They can change what they want because they have the freedom to do so

If America was so racist than explain why Trevor Reed was released in a prison swap with Russia while Griner was imprisoned there at the same time. The administration has interpreted BOTH Griner and Whelan as “wrongfully detained.” Griner was detained pursuant to the terms of a law with which you disagree. She committed a crime. The administration suggests Whelan was wrongfully charged, but we don’t know if that is fact or spin.
If Griner was Rex Chapman, the administration, as much as he loves it, would not have made this the big deal it is. You implicitly admit that with your acknowledgment that race (and sexuality) played a role.

I did argue, however, that her being a famous person did cause some more pressure on Biden to get her released sooner. If one factor (social standing) has SOMETHING (as in more than nothing) to do with this situation and other factors (race and gender) have NOTHING (as in a zero amount) then the phrase “more to do with” doesn’t automatically acknowledge anything.
