In order to win a presidential election you need a base of support. The Democratic Party has no identity. Idk if they are even truly united to defeat trump. Ideology is strong and it is very diverse. Granted I didn’t waste my time watching the debate from what I’ve read it was a race to the far left. It’s a waste of time to have these mass debates at this point. Why the hell aren’t warren Bernie Biden Harris all out there at the same time? They have no clue what they’re doing (the Dems) and have some serious fractures in the party. The Republicans all seem to be on the same page.

The study, released jointly by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) and Power the Future on Tuesday, looked at a wide swath of data to estimate how transforming the energy sector -- which includes de-carbonizing transportation and retrofitting U.S. commercial and residential buildings -- would affect the average household in five representative states.
Within the first year of implementing the program, the average household in each of the given states (Alaska, Florida, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania) would incur at least $70,000 in expenses -- followed by roughly $45,000 in annual expenses for each of the following 2-5 years and over $37,000 after that time frame.

The Republicans have compromised and accepted semi moderate Democrat Donald Trump. His policies really are everything the Democrats would have wanted 20 years ago. Big spending NY social liberal who cut taxes for the middle class and is doing everything he can to lift up minority communities.
Yet that’s not good enough now. To satisfy current day Democrats, we need to erase our borders, eliminate private insurance, and force white people to pay reparations for something most of them (or their ancestors) had no involvement in hundreds of years ago.
And Edstein comes on here to ask us what bullshit hypothetical it would take to turn against Trump.
What would it take for you loony toon lefties to actually pull your heads out of your asses and wake up and smell the roses?
Wanting our borders enforced in not racist. Not allowing grown men to smuggle small children across the border if they claim they are family is not immoral. Pointing out failed (or successful if your a Democrat politician) Democrat leadership have kept inner city communities down is not racist.
