Damn! P.M. May is actually calling out Islam. She's starting to sound like Trump, even specifically calling it an evil, radical ideology. Said she no longer cares if it's embarrassing or difficult to talk about because they have had far too much tolerance, the facts are what they are, and it's time to take a hard look Britain's current counter terrorism strategy.
Maybe, finally, laws/policies will be changed/put into place, uncuffing intelligence/police from political correctness, and allowing them to act instead of react. So many of these attacks could have been stopped because the attackers are almost always known to intelligence/police, but they can never act, only watch and wait for an attack, because of political correctness, Islamaphobia outcry, etc...

The prime minister is talking tougher right now because she is in a re-election campaign that concludes on Thursday. I am betting it is status quo after election day. They are already too far gone unless they do something really drastic.

It absolutely is left vs right. The left will protect refugees/fugitives/Muslims at all costs. They'll fight the intelligence departments. They'll fight any measure the US does to try and stop terrorism.
When talking about drastic measures, it should be noted that in the onset, attacks will actually increase because these radicals have got such a hold that they do not want to give up the ground they have gained. They (England) must be prepared for a long battle because these radicals are entrenched. Also, it should be noted that it is not the small minority of Islam that think this way. In fact, it is the small minority that condemn these actions.
In Europe it's gone way past just being random terrorists attacks. It's basically an insurgency at this point.

What? Please explain what level of police we would need to keep every car on the road from plowing into a crowd on a sidewalk. How about trying to keep every potential terrorist from having a car, gun, riding on a plane, having a box cutter, or a million other ways to kill a bunch of people that haven't been discovered yet? You need to arm yourself, the order created by the police / government / administration / whatever is just a facade.

Sadly true. I've visited the UK numerous times during the past 33 years, and plan on returning within the next few years. It amazes me your normal beat cops over there remain unarmed in this day and age.
I am a bit worried we could get hit in the USA. I feel much safer under Trump, but I won't really feel 100% safe until the travel ban is back. Our judiciary is really pathetic.
That's my point. The narrative they want is control. We can't possibly stop all crazy people from killing you with guns, cars, or etc. So give up your freedom. So we can protect you.
