They’re corrupt and Trump is a threat to them because he doesn’t need the buy off money.
All of the leadership in both parties are corrupt. At some point, probably starting with the Clinton Foundation, politicians realized they could get filthy rich from their position. That’s not to say there hasn’t always been corrupt politicians, but they’re becoming multimillionaires now selling influence and through “ book deals”.

We have a Police State. The Clinton Administration is where it first started getting real dirty. They took it public with lies and cover ups. Everyone who did not agree was an enemy that must be destroyed. It went all the way back to his earliest years in politics.

We have a Justice System that does not treat citizens equally under the law. Trump made a huge mistake when he did not remove certain people in his administration. Appointing Christopher Wray was probably the biggest. If he ever gets back in power he has to be more intelligent with who he has in his administration.
