The left today does not really care about personal freedoms as long as the government will pay for their healthcare and college. Once that is established we will have that Utopian society that Venezuela, Cuba, Hong Kong, and all of those other socialist countries around the world have. Everyone working for a lot less than we have now, older people not given proper medical care because the government will decide who to help and not help, lack of choice of goods to buy since their will only be the governments brand, less food to eat because as you know, the government's ability to keep things running efficiently (shelves stocked) is less than commendable, and most important to the politicians that want this, their power and wealth will multiply by leaps and bounds while the rest of us suffer.
Dim supporters are not the mental educated giants they have proclaimed themselves to be because, if they were, history should have taught those educated correctly that these type of governments don't succeed.

I have known and been around Cubans since the early 1960's. I found them to be the hardest workers and grateful for the opportunity to be in America. I was very close friends with a doctor who lost everything to Castro and escaped to Florida. He took a job as a dish washer and lived in a one bedroom apartment with his wife and small children. It took him about 5 years to be allowed to practice medicine again. Another Cuban I knew worked in a fast food restaurant with me. He escaped Cuba where he was a very successful business man. After getting on his feet in America he became a millionaire in Miami. There are thousands of stories like these.
Cubans who escaped Castro are probably the most conservative in our country. They support Trump more than any other ethnic group because they escaped what the Democrats want for America. I have the highest respect for them and love their culture as well. They are strong families, enjoy life, are very festive, love freedom and work harder than any group I have been around.
If Trump ever becomes President again I am certain he will work to over throw Communist Cuba. That is why Cubans who fled Cuba support him and many dream of returning to their homeland, something that will not happen with a Democrat U.S. government.

Media is a reflection of it's viewers far more than it is an influencer of it's viewers. You need to understand that. Whatever a site is showing it is showing it because their data shows that the people who watch it like to see what they are showing.
This is an important fact because conservatives and liberals alike think the other side is being brainwashed by their vile media. That's not what is happening. Conservatives are not being brainwashed by Fox News. They like Fox News because it expresses their viewpoint. Likewise liberals are not being brainwashed by CNN. They like CNN because it expresses their views.
The only reason liberal viewpoints have a slight edge in overall news content is that more Americans are somewhat progressive and liberal than they are conservative. As of June 2020 per the Gallop website linked below only 25% of Americans identified as Republicans and 30% identified as Democrat while 40% identified as Independent.
This isn't brainwashing. If you really believe people are being brainwashed by the media than you also need to understand whatever brainwashing tactics you think are being used on the other side are also being used on you and you need to do a thorough review of what you are consuming as well. Conservatives and liberal newscasters all went to the same journalism colleges and universities and were taught the exact same style of reporting and communicating so your side knows how to brainwash too if you think that is what is going on.
