I think it's obvious that we played better when platooning. I don't know any of the players, but it's my guess that they want to platoon. I think most fans like it. Therefore, I believe it would be a good idea to have t-shirts the fans at the home game can wear saying,
"We want platoons!" or something similar to this

someone go ahead and make up about 24k by tomorrow. thanks

I think I will trust in Cal, and not the random internet fans who have never won UK a game.

And the fact remains, the only two players whose playing time has been cut lately is Johnson and Lee.

The other fact is we do not have our 10 deep rotation anymore. Spare me your Hawkins or Willis solutions. To give one of those guys near 20 minutes would be laughable and hurt the team a lot.

The team will be fine once they get used to the new rotations, and better in the long run.

Here's my shirt...

Blue/White camo design
Put some printed dog tags around the neck,
the word "PLATOON" stenciled in large font.
Underneath a quote from Sgt Barnes from the movie platoon: "Shut up and take the pain!"

I think you are giving up on something that I'm not sure that Cal has. The platoon system worked, now can it work with Alex gone is the question.

He has in close games, which is really all that matters IMO. He is going traditional substitution of late.

And even still, Cal is still playing 9 games 10+ minutes a game most games. That may not be platoon 100%, but it is still effective for resting our guys and having more legs in the end. The thing is, anyone who watched that game Saturday saw A&M WAS TIRED the last 5-7 minutes of regulation and beyond. We just failed to take advantage on offense. We should have won that game by 10-15 points in regulation.

No, platooning is the way to continue. Why abandon something that worked? Hawkins and Willis can contribute. They may not be a good as the other 9, but they will learn more playing than riding the pine. They aren't going to kill the season. Platooning in the long run is better. Imagine how good both platoons will be in March. We'll destroy team worse than we did in Dec.
