I've already conceded that we lose to Kansas in the early season, but take them down in the NCAA Tournament when we have all of our critical pieces.
We’re playing a bunch of economics majors?
Any one of the bigs that can turn into a rim protector and Kentucky will be dangerous comes March
I can swallow that pill, but MAN do I want to beat KU and I feel like if we have Bradshaw or Big Z, we can do it, but without either of those 2 it's a tallllll order (pun intended)

This is why I'd rather be in an in season tournament at Thanksgiving. We always play one if these games so early and get beat because are young and inexperienced. Don't see how that helps us.
Like we won't lose 1 or 2 games in a Thanksgiving tourney. What's the difference?
I think we should be fine. I heard all their numbers are inflated

Correct I live out here and know that scenerio. Gas is hi 4.00 or mid 5.00 range. Our water bill is outragious as are most other products needed for daily living.

Are we gonna wait until Z is cleared by the ncaa before using his real name? I admit I don’t know his real name bc it’s “z this z that”. The other thing why would he be available? The ncaa is gonna drag its feet. Nothing happens fast with them.
Thought about that, as my home will bring 1.5 million, and that will go a long way in another state. Still pondering..........
Yeah, that isn't as good a team from what I can see. I'm curious to see how good NMSU is against other comp. They were definitely playing hard and didn't give up. They just got overwhelmed at one point. But I was impressed with their intensity. It also helped that they made some tough shots in that first half that probably won't always fall for them. PLUS, Kentucky wasn't making shots they will usually make (and as they did in the 2nd half) It kept the game closer. As for A&M Commerce, I don't see them as a quality team. I think NMSU is better than we made them look, especially in that 2nd half.
Texas A&M-Commerce sounds like we are playing the employees of a Texas A&M Credit Union Bank.
I don’t expect to beat the #1 team in the nation with a bunch of kids. Not right now, but come late February and March I expect to win them all!
How many other players are waiting on the NCAA to determine their eligibility status for this season? Just curious, is there a stat or list out there somewhere? because for these types of situations to drag into the season like this is ridiculous and a complete injustice to the young man. What exactly do they need to see or do that taking so long?
I thought NMSU had some pretty decent talent....certainly better than most of the early season cupcakes we feast on.
Kansas lost to Illinois so yea, I think we can beat them. I think we have about a 30% chance without our bigs. We'll need 5 players in double figures to do it.

Going to the game. I do think we come out sluggish. I think just a natural tendency after a 40 pt win and a big game vs KU looming. I can’t see how a team gets up for this one.

It’s like people are forgetting HD has to guard Tre Mitchell. If Tre can stay out of foul trouble I like our chances.
I don't think Dickinson or KU is worried about having to guard Mitchell.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Tre Mitchell and what he gives us, and he will obviously be able to draw Dickinson away from the rim which is huge!
But HD is so much bigger than Tre- I don't expect Tre to have a huge game, I think he'll get swallowed up a bit.
But we'll see!
