OT: Twitter in Absolute Shambles

Musk neither left leaning or right leaning? Give me a f’ing break. He’s made his political preferences public knowledge. He supports the right. What does that mean? He has no credibility in attempting to represent Twitter as non-partisan. So, in reality, nothing has changed. Twitter was a tool for the left with no more credibility with the right than CNN with respect to being non-partisan. Now, it’s a tool for the right with no more credibility with the left than FOX. It’s a zero sum gain for truth in attempting to navigate the political landscape.
Your problem is that the left has moved so far extreme that rational moderate positions now seem right to you. When you're used to special treatment and censorship on demand, balanced free speech seems unfair to you. You're going to have to deal with that because the country is not willingly going to continue on your path to destruction.

Thankfully we now have one major (1) channel of communication that isn't owned and operated by the progressive totalitarians!

Let me know when Elon starts taking orders from R politicians to bury corrupt, criminal deeds and interfere in elections. Ain't happening.

Seems clear to me its you guys (and Trump) who are in shambles this weekend. Rage on in your second political thread. Is social media guru cat turd in shambles as well?
Typing while wearing a mask causes asthma. Don't worry dude. You can still rely on other places to censor free speech and the courts to do nothing about it. Smile. We are on our way to 3rd world status.

The sad thing is that it doesn’t really matter what he exposes. No one will ever be held accountable for any of it.

It’s far more likely Musk will end up spending his life holed up in a foreign embassy fighting US attempts at extradition than it is that anyone in the U.S. government will ever face any consequences for any crimes or unethical behavior that benefits the political establishment.

Probably work... most people would've never heard of Weiss or Taibbi before.

They're two of only a handful of "journalists" with a shred of integrity left in that corrupted profession. As is often the case with our media, the opposite of whatever smear campaign they're going to run is true.

Weiss will be helpful when the covid stuff starts dropping.

Another one that has been solid for awhile now is Glenn Greenwald. These used to be respected journalists when they were at their rags they wrote for and became pariahs when they dared to speak against them.

When they were attacking the Bush WH they were good guys. But when they started pointing out the dems warts they all the sudden became far right extremist shills.

They must be obscene if a margin loan is lower. Still he's using a proven asset to secure an unproven asset. It's a major bet on him turning Twitter profitable.

It’s not like he’s pulling up his fidelity account and requesting a high interest margin loan. He’s monetizing his Tesla stock without incurring any capital gains or crashing the stock price. Lots of ultra-rich people do it.

I also have to think that lawsuits against Vijaya, Baker, Parag and others are coming. It really does seem they worked with malice to hurt the value of the co and sabotage it after the deal was announced. Baker being a lawyer I just can't see how he doesn't lose his law license. He was undermining his employer for political reasons.

Definitely agree there. Surprised they didn't go the bankruptcy route which would've avoided the entire scenario
