That’s great but doesn’t address what you said implying that Darnold isn’t comfortable in the Vikings system.
Its his 1st yr as a Viking, 1st yr in O’Connell’s system; 1st yr playing with all these dudes.
If you don’t think he can get better and better as he gets more and more reps in this system; I dont now what to tell you.
Its not like he is a Mahomes or a Goff who have been running the same plays with the same guys for years and years.

True but its the cumulative affect at the end, because so many are out for the yr; that you have to be concerned about, esp against good teams and the great teams in the playoffs.

Its clear the NFL wants the Chiefs, who would be going for an unprecedented 3 peat and the Lions; who, despite being one of the oldest NFL franchises, have never sniffed the big game, to both play in New Orleans.

Only Detroit, Philly and Buffalo have better numbers on both sides of the football and Philly by a mere 1 pt on fewest points allowed.
Vikings tied w/GB for 5th in NFL in scoring margin and only 2 pts behind Washington for 4th.
To me that is a Championship formula.

With a win at home next Mon night v the putrid Bears the Vikings would move to 12-2 and would have their best 14 gm start in 26 seasons circa 1998 when they were 13-1 after 14 games.
