I wasn’t going to say anything, but he has touched my life as well. It was 2003, Dwayne’s first year in the league. I was 11.
My mom took me to Walmart. We didn’t have tons of money, but I loved collecting sports cards. She bought me a pack of upper deck basketball cards that I asked for. I went home, and to my surprise, found a Dwayne Wade rookie jersey card inside! I wish I could meet up with him and tell my touching story, and give him the pack that I opened to find the card in. God bless that man.
