Dang really? He threw his hands up and told Hunter he would have to figure NIL out. Gave him no direction. That’s Cal's own words, not mine.

I didn't hear that.Just that he told him he couldn't guarantee an NIL number.Dang really?
But Chuck Hayes didn't get drafted. Chuck played four seasons at UK, went undrafted and then worked his way up from the D League. If Chuck Hayes can play 10 years in the league, how can anyone doubt Oscar.
I hope he comes back. I think it’s crazy that we have fans that don’t.As this process has progressed, Kentucky Coach John Calipari has remained in close contact. Calipari, who made it clear earlier this month that he would love to coach Tshiebwe for a third season, has been working his contacts in the NBA to gauge the 23-year-old’s draft stock, then passing that info along to his star player. “We talk all the time. And they know everything (I’m doing),” Tshiebwe said of the UK coaches. “And he’s honest with me.” Calipari’s message: If Tshiebwe gets a “great opportunity,” he should leave. If not, he’ll return to Kentucky, and the coaching staff will work up a plan for the 2023-24 season to help him progress in the areas the NBA wants to see him improve.

Oscar come home!It sounds like it's best for both sides.Btw this article indicates the enormous amount of OT's UK NIL revenue.
While official numbers aren’t public, the Herald-Leader has been told that Tshiebwe earned about $4 million through name, image and likeness opportunities this past season, a total that he could likely replicate with a return to UK and one that he’d be hard-pressed to beat as a pro next season.

Where, in my post, did I say anything about me putting my/any trust in Calipari?
Lol wrongHe threw his hands up and told Hunter he would have to figure NIL out. Gave him no direction. That’s Cal's own words, not mine.
He consistently made jumpers from around 15' and in when he was here. Range beyond that is what's suspect. He is consistently hitting jumpers today though, he showcases that and he will get drafted
He was hitting corner 3s and 18-20 footers so that’s a good sign he may be league boundHe consistently made jumpers from around 15' and in when he was here. Range beyond that is what's suspect.
Which is why we should all simply wait and see what happens. Obviously, this is a message board and people can say and speculate however much they want to. If Oscar and Reeves come back, plus adding Johnson, would that suddenly mean Cal hasn't just been sitting on his hands in the portal? We do have to give him and the coaching staff credit for the incoming recruits as well as re-recruiting guys back to Lexington if that in fact happens. If Oscar and Reeves would return and we add Johnson that would be a very good roster.
May 31 is right around the corner, and pretty much all these questions will be answered then.Which is why we should all simply wait and see what happens. Obviously, this is a message board and people can say and speculate however much they want to.
I wanted Oscar gone? Where did I say that and where did I say I put my trust in Calipari?Wanting Oscar gone because you think a better player is coming along says it, you don’t have to! 😉
Oh, well, I'm glad you worked do hard to prove that. Eyeroll.Lol wrong

That was a discussion about top 10 UK players of all time. What a joke you are.“See post 122 for your answer. Oscar has generational rebounding stats, other than that, he’s a below par athlete, a terrible defender and a below average shooter. What are these great stats you're trying to pass off?” -Jeff in another thread
That isn’t someone I would want in my team but you’re saying you want the guy you described??? You would not be a good coach! 😊
Dang really?
