He’s with that family because of his preexisting relationship with Sags Konate, not the other way around. Oscar’s coaches at Mountain Mission changed and he wanted a new school so he asked to end up where he did

Huggs offered Oscar as an unheralded 9th grader and started bringing him to campus as much as possible.

Anything else is just sour grapes

Appreciate the perspective. I think some on here like to assume there is something sordid happening in every recruitment that doesn't go UK's way. I do think it is reasonable to say that there were a lot of factors pulling him towards WVU, but that doesn't mean that anyone was forcing him and it clearly seemed like he made a great choice for himself. Either way congrats on reeling in a big one. Highest ranked in school history I believe.
