So is this the beginning of the end for this place? Does it become pay to post only? My guess is it's coming. Been posting here almost 23 years, been through the Thanksgiving post, the raining on Jerry Clairborne Field thread, more game day posts than I can count. It'll be a shame if corporate greed closes the doors to all that.

Yeah, I'm not paying anyone to discuss Sports or anything else.

I think the message forums are a dying breed. I have been a premium member of rivals since 2003. The first day but I have personally lost interest in them. I cancelled my premium membership several months ago.

If this ever requires a $90 annual plan or whatever it is monthly to participate on a message board, forget it. Premium info is one thing, paying discussion like KSR has it would be a deal breaker if this ever happens in the future.
