They have not been tested in their first 4 games:
The 4 teams ( Furman, MTSU, Wake, Ga. Southern) they have played thus far have a combined record of 5-10.
We are going to Oxford and are going to punch them in the mouth!
Hard!
Plus, its a revenge game from just 2 seasons ago when we lost by just 3 in Oxford.
If I had the money Id take the 17.5 pts and high step to the Fifth 3rd Bank because we are winning this football game!!!

If we're going to win, then why would you take the spread over the moneyline?

I'm just trying to figure out where we went from being on even terms with them to the point they had to have the most flukish of things happen for them to beat us to now, well, they are #6 and how dare we poke the bear by saying such inflammatory trash talk as...*checks notes*...they have about an 80% chance to beat us and their fans may not be as intimidating at an 11:00 kickoff.

😐

I'm old enough to remember beating Virginia Tech in a bowl game a few years ago and our head coach telling us we don't take shit off anybody. Now...apparently we grab a shovel and ask for more. What has happened to us? I mean I get the Stoops fatigue. I was ready to fire him after the South Carolina game but good Lord, we have 8 games left and this team is too talented to just piss it away. Stoops has earned the right to finish this through for better or worse; let's try to win some ballgames. Feel like we are wanting to cut off our nose to spite our face. Ole Miss is probably the better team and I wish them well the rest of the season but why on Earth would we ever concede to them before the game is played because they have a fancy number in front of their name? If they beat us, they beat us but the beta male energy is flowing rampant here lately and there is no reason for it.

Who- Big Bad with the call out - like it!

There are a lot of Chicken Littles- not the type you want to team up with in tough circumstances

4 of the 10 losses were to Ole Miss

Hate to say it but my gut tells me UK is about receive a historic ass beating.
Based on.....Kiffin has a pretty visor?

Seriously, someone PLEASE explain to me why I am supposed to have nightmares tonight thinking about the game Saturday. What is it that Ole Miss has done to make me think they are Freddy Kruger?

Like I said, they may beat us. They may beat us handily. Just completely bewildered to think that will happen before we play them.

Ole Miss may take some time to adjust to speed and talent of a SEC opponent. UKs pitiful offense better take advantage early if so. We know the D will ball out but the offense has to show up and do well for 4 quarters as eventually Ole Miss will put up some points.

Might want to save your money. We may find Ole Piss to be TN on steroids. They have better receivers, better QB, as fast or faster pace of play, and they are at home. Not a good bet.

I hate seeing these posts from OP. It seems he’s pissed off the universe somehow, because when he makes predictions they always seem to go the wrong way. What did you do OP? What did you do??
I think he has made a bankroll off betting against the Cats. I don’t know the numbers but he is around 95% incorrect on his predictions.
I’m going to say Herro is a local weatherman!

Their OOC could be a factor. This is about the time of year, after 3 misleading games that provide nothing but false hope, we start to skid mark it up.

We’ve been popped in the face and ass twice so hopefully that translates to coming out a bit more prepared on the road.

Ole Miss and Kif are the real deal though. A win down there would be the biggest of Stoops career.

Odds are obviously against us but maybe not stacked as steep if we were coming off 3-4 wins against puffs and thinking playoffs.

As far as Kif to Florida…not sure he needs it or wants it now.

Saban is gone. He can beat and out coach everyone on that side. Why come to Florida, try to rebuild when UGA is at their peak and UT is rising?! No thanks.

Then you have Miami returning to glory. Might not have to play them every year but you have to recruit against them. A nationally relevant U will alter things for a handful of programs via recruiting in that state. The guys who had been going to UF, FSU, Bama, among others since the last time Da U was showtime will be staying home.

I do think we’ll be a step up in competition for them, but we need our offense to show up a lot more than it has in SEC games so far. If we “punch them in the mouth” by taking a 3-0 lead into the 2nd quarter or something like that, then I think they’ll eventually adjust. We’re going to have to put up some touchdowns and get out to an early lead big enough to actually matter for any kind of shock factor on their end to affect the outcome of the game.

Uh, they have more SEC speed than we do, FYI. You are acting like it is the first game they have played in the SEC ?? They play against more speed in practice than they will face MOST Saturdays. Not to mention they have Jaxson Dart, a Heisman candidate.

Dart - (4 games) 95/119 (80%) - 1554 yards (388 yards per game) / 12 TD's / 2 INT's
#1 RB - Henry Parrish - 427 yards (7.5 ypc) / 7 TD's
#2 RB- Matt Jones - 201 yards (6.7 ypc) / 3 TD's
#1 WR- Trae Harris - 38 receptions (9.5 per game) / 628 yards / 4 TD's. Has games of 8/179, 9/130, 10/94, 11/225 yards.
#2 WR- Antwane Wells - 14 receptions / 274 yards / 4 TD's
#3 WR- 14 receptions / 256 yards / 1 TD.
They have 2 other guys who have well over 100 yards receiving. Balanced offense, speed at all the skill positions. A lethal QB with both his arm and legs. All of that equals a long day in Oxford. They went 11-2 last year and are just as stacked. Lets not act like we are playing a big time offense from CUSA or something. There is a reason they are playoff candidates. We haven't been able to score against a lot lesser talent than Ole Miss, hopefully the defense can "slow" them down some, get a few TO's / lucky bounces to keep it competitive. Kiffin will not go easy, he will try to make a statement every game to build up the Ole Miss hype.
