OFFICIAL “TEXAS A&M @ KENTUCKY “ THREAD

This team isn't 1 seed level and never was.
Starting top 5 with the returning player of the year and supposedly better incoming players than last year's team (that was a 2 seed) says yes, we should have been playing for a 1 seed this year. Had we played the right players from the start and maybe changed up defenses occasionally, we could have been top 10 still.

Of course I'd rather them have another loss. I just don't like playing teams coming off of losses. They will be playing out of their minds against us. If we hit our threes and don't get in foul trouble, we can win it.

I have this feeling they are going to be playing out of their minds regardless. I"m sure they want revenge after what we did to them last year at their place

......huh?
This team has the players to be a top 3 seed / top 10 team and to be back on track with what should be happening, it would take going undefeated the rest of the way in the SEC to get there.

some sunshine pumpers are trying to act like these 3 wins in a row proves Cal is back to being Cal and no....... its going to take a lot more wins in a row to even have that discussion ..

We have to go undefeated in SEC play to have our season back on track..... It really says a lot about some peoples minds that all it takes is 3 wins in a row to forget the 6 losses already

I don't think anyone is forgetting them. It's just that they already happened and there's little that can be done about it.
Just have to look forward to the remaining games, hope we win a huge bulk of them, get a somewhat decent seed and try to make a run in the tournament now.

So 13-5 in the SEC and beating Kansas wouldn't be "on track" to you? Lol. Okay.

A&M made 64% of their twos today
We need to do a better job on defense or else we are heading nowhere this season.
Oscar was in foul trouble right off the bat today, aTm just got easy layups right in his face, because he couldn’t defend. It was his own fault though.

Yeah definitely that was some of it. He didn't want to pick up any additional fouls.

I feel recently we have been doing a bit better on that side of the ball.

I think a lot of people believe it because they love a KY win no matter who the coach or players are. Now go back to one of your other accounts and agree with yourself.

At the end of the day, whenever we win I am happy and whenever we lose I'm not. The coach seems to get a ton of talk on this board but at the end of the day, that's all that matters to the majority of people. Winning or losing

for me, its not about being on track

its about the coach who never has the team on track at the start of the season.

Seriously, how can a man in his position not see or do what thousands of basketball fans were saying was the obvious move in terms of line up ?

Its just inconceivable that he could be that wrong - and couldn't figure it out until the middle of the season after an embarrassing loss and falling out of the top 25 AGAIN.

At this point he's either incompetent, incapable or indifferent to prioritizing winning at Kentucky
