Just a few observations, obviously in August, not a lot of structure in place.

--Herro an offensive force, 3 pt range, mid range, and drive
--Johnson, very impressive freshman physique, gonna be a stud
--Hagans, a defensive disrupter, much needed
--Montgomery, smooth lefty, good touch, will need to get more physical
--PJ body has changed, he will be a stud
--Reid Travis will have to operate out of double teams, but he's built like a brick house
--Richards, improved but still raw.

Thought it was interesting that Travis was the only one getting doubled when he caught the ball in the post.

Opponents will have to double Travis in the post, but there are ways for UK, to single him on low post, with the right personnel groupings and spacing.

PJ got that big on big double last year from Kansas in the early November game too.

Summer trips like this are great teaching tools for Cal and staff.

I think PJ will be pretty much unstoppable on that left block this year.
Montgomery had a great right handed bank shot from the block.
Travis will dominate, guards just need to get it to him in the right spots.

Noticed that as well, thought it was a bit odd.Someone did some homework on us. My guess is that Richards will draw more attention tonight.
