They are called 'secret scrimmages' (even though they are not that secret). I believe I heard that Cal does not like playing them which is why you don't hear UK playing anyone in a secret scrimmage. Most schools do play them though.

But they have done this for about 3 years now. It counts as one of the exhibition games.

Don't really know what to think........VU should be good.
Sometimes these games can be scripted like intra-squad.

Roy wouldn't know. His defense is he has no idea what his players do outside of basketball Like a coach wouldn't know his players academic status.

We lost by 12. It was a 6 point game with 2 to play. Great practice against a pretty good team in their building.

Did Paige get to play in this secret game or was he already injured? It would make a huge difference in the outcome. Even though i'm not the biggest fan of Paige, most Unc fans swear he's the real deal and we haven't had the chance to see the real Paige play yet cause of injuries. If that's the case, i don't think we will ever see the real Paige play. It seems this kid is injured every season. Vandy is going to be a pretty good team this coming season. I can't wait to see them play. I don't look forward to playing in their gym, but i'm not worried about losing to them.

Heard the same. UNC won by about 12 but that it was a competitive enough game. Justin Jackson apparently stood out. Still think they will underperform again this year
