Yeah. Vandy and UNC have done this for a long time.Happens every year I believe. It's always closed to the public.
They were supposed to play a closed scrimmage. But when Roy Williams found out Vanderbilt actually made its players attend classes and write papers in return for grades, he declared that was an 'unfair advantage' that might make them understand complex defenses better, and cancelled.
Roy wouldn't know. His defense is he has no idea what his players do outside of basketballIsn't Roy going to be shocked when he sees Vandy players going to classes that actually have teachers in them?
According to local buzz here in Nashville, UNC won handily by 12/15.
Don't really know what to think........VU should be good.
Sometimes these games can be scripted like intra-squad.
A buddy in Nashville told me UNC dominated Vandy.
Hell,if they held one on the moon during a lunar eclipse some of our fans would find a way to see it.They are called 'secret scrimmages' (even though they are not that secret). I believe I heard that Cal does not like playing them which is why you don't hear UK playing anyone in a secret scrimmage. Most schools do play them though.
Please tell us what you heard Mr. Sindelinlin. Not true at all. I have a great source fwiw.

Yep, and Vandy has reportedly taken them to the woodshed a few times, too.Happens every year I believe. It's always closed to the public.
