Who wants a commemorative T-shirt? [laughing]

Hate this time of year
When I get up I usually log in and look for the good news. Nothing for 2 months, still waiting.

I've seen a lot of other teams, our competition get good news after good news and stronger meanwhile we have 7 guys. 5 Freshman and 2 sophomores who barely played. I would have thought Cal would go full throttle to add to the roster to make sure his top class would be successful especially after the ending the last 4 years. I figured we would load up with all the injuries and issues we see ever year, but instead it's one of the thinnest rosters I can remember with June coming up. I mean we even lost Ware WTF? Guys just don't seem to want to gone back here unless that flat out have to.

Surely some good news for the cats will come eventually, right?

If you live in Kentucky and hate this time of year, you need to get a hobby. 73 degrees every day. Beautiful blooms. Living in a place that actually has four seasons, and you don't like spring tells me that you should move somewhere that only has two seasons.

We’ve gotten lucky this year. Normally by now it’s already getting humid. I’m Not complaining. We are getting a full spring for once.

Kentucky no longer actually has four seasons:

Spring - this season has been an exception to what's been happening for decades in that winter would quickly give way to hot temps

Summer - the summers don't have as high temps as they used to. I remember highs in the 100's in July back in the early 1990s, but ....the summers go much longer without cooking down then they used to. It's common to see hot temps in late September/ early October. It used to be that late August we'd see a big drop in temps and by early September we were wearing jackets

Fall - doesn't really exist here anymore. As mentioned in the summer portion of my post, fall used to present itself late August. In September we'd be forced to wear jackets, by October we were wearing coats. Halloween would be really nippy. People were really into Thanksgiving because of the cold weather and we'd often see snow or ice before December. Made for quite the Christmas season spirit! Now, it's very warm in October. Who wants to pick pumpkins when it's 70 degrees out? I don't!

Winter - doesn't produce nearly the frequency of intensity of snowstorms that Kentucky used to get. Not even close. It was common to have lots of snow days and worry about going to school in early June. Now if we get 3-6" (if that) they call it a Winter Storm Warning. Anyone remember having to put on snow chains? You never see that anymore.

Being the age of 79 I totally agree.

Yeah, the last few years we have gone from winter to summer. The humidity coupled with the heat can get unbearable at times, but I'll take it, I lived in Michigan for 15 years recently and those winters are just brutal.

This. I can remember summers in the 100s as well. But that’s what was expected. It was hot as hell for a bout a month. By late August it was cooling off a bit. Now it’s like late May to October it’s a damn sauna.
