Briscoe is easily the best point guard, but man, this class looks incredibly weak. To me, Jaylen Brown has the most NBA potential of any '15 recruit, but I don't think he's even as good as say Stanley Johnson.
I'm expecting less freshman impact next year than in years past.
I can't judge talent but I turned the game off 6 min before halftime last night. No player really stood out to me. It also could of been that only Briscoe has committed to UK so far.
This guy is going to be good. Yeah these games aren't the best indicator of how good they really are but you can't deny his gifts. He plays completely under control. Uses his wide frame to fend off defenders with great ability to beat people off the dribble. His shot mechanics are solid. I noticed he likes to get up into people as a defender and isn't afraid to go after rebounds on the defensive end.
His greatest attribute to me is his build. He will be a handful for smaller guards. He's a grown man and just graduating. I'm excited as heck with him. Great attitude, loves to get out on the break and find the cutting player. Awesome get for the Big Blue.
Yeah....good luck trying to stay in front of Briscoe next year. Dude's handles are crazy. He didn't get to show off his athleticism yesterday, but he got into the lane at will.
