Kennedy Norton is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian HS. Strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Some drop and drive in his mechanics, arm is loose and pretty low effort coming through. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph early, fastball mostly straight with occasional running action down in the zone. Soft curveball with some 12/6 depth on occasion. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.

Strong student. Not the greatest speed on the fastball but if he hits his spots and gets a bit more run on the fastball then he'd probably be a good one out of the pen. Welcome!!

Agreed. Too many people in love with the radar gun. This kid's a winner. From the same program as Justin Lewis. Glad to have him.

Thinking about it a bit further. He topped out at 87 earlier this year, and was probably pitching mid 80s for most of the game. I imagine that he can add some weight to the frame and add some strength and that will help that fastball stay up in the lower 80s for a longer time, if not even give him some more gas on that fastball. Still not a burner, but he can still be a very valuable asset, and so far this coaching staff has definitely been able to spot talent.
