Should be 32 teams IMO.How much money is there to really gain by adding these teams? No one attends these opening round playoff games. There's no way the ratings for them are impressive. There are diminishing returns there every time they expand.
It's more about getting more room for at large teams which gives them a bigger chance to include fringe power conf teams with a much bigger following than the mid majors. It'll generate more revenue, but not sure how much. I'd watch if they let everyone in so doesn't bother me any lol.How much money is there to really gain by adding these teams? Same here. I'm not going to be interested in even more teams, it's just a money grab. Why not invite the whole damn country?
And they probably only make the play in game. They are calling this "The Hoosier Rule." If they can get it up to 128 teams, Indiana makes the dance at least every three years.
First upset would be my stomachThey should just forgo the regular season and have a tournament with all 364 teams............FA Cup Style lol. We can have the draw for each round on ESPN. The worst teams can host the games for more upsets lol.
NGL. I’m that nerd that watches them all, multiple monitors and allI wouldn't watch as I rarely watch the first 4 games.
8 more teams isn't that crazy though.
I get that the eventual winners don’t come from the bottom half of the teams, but I really love the 4-day blitz of games and all the upsets when Match Madness kicks off. Feel like we would miss a lot of that if it went back down to 32.Should be 32 teams IMO.
They have a hard time finding 64 worthy teams, that would be stupid as hell.

Just add a weekend and let everyone in. Then seat the final 64.
