The GD ncaa should get their own, competent refs. The tournament alone brings in megabucks, let alone the conference tournaments and regular season games. Get some full time GD refs and hold them accountable.

I'd be happy with NCAA refs becoming full-time, and being forced to face reporters after games and going before an independent review panel after every season.
It will only happen if Duke or UNC want it to. The NCAA will do the opposite of what we want.

No they don't, and it's really not even close.
NBA refs are some of the worse officials in any sport. rules change depending on the player's power status. Perhaps MLB officials should officiate all sports.

I think NBA officials are good at what they do...no traveling violations (it's ridiculous), no back court violations, few block/charge arguments because NBA players challenge shots, no hand-check fouls, obvious fouls are called but many aren't, can go to the monitor whenever they want it seems, give technical fouls to the "bad boys" in the league and let others have a pass, ensure the star players get the call if its anywhere close to a questionable call, ignore rules of the game when they want, etc. But at least you know what you are getting.

I actually think about that episode a lot. I remember at the end he gives a guy CPR - freaks everybody out. Some of the ruffians want to pounce on him. At one point, he pounds on the guy's chest.
