Name one annoying coaching trait cal does

The most annoying thing about the way Cal coaches predates his stay here. His attorude about preparing to hit free throws consistantly drives me crazy. He has lost 2 National title games one here agianst Ucon and one at Memphis agianstvKu because his teams missed critical free throws. He has said REPEATEDLY He doesnt Stress free throw shooting in practice, just drives me nuts

I could name about 8 or 9 things that came to mind just now, but the most annoying is his lack of inbounds plays or set plays at the end of shot/game clock.

It’s why I don’t care when he doesn’t call a timeout at the end of a game. He doesn’t have anything to draw up anyway.

Pitino coached FT routine frequently in practice because he belived FT shooting was all about routine and he was right. Cal isn't a coach, he's a NBA agent with a clipboard.

There is a certain element in the fan base that believes to be a true fan you must worship at the feet of the coach and that he must be defended against all slings and arrows.

There is where someone should have said "well your two favorite players, what about them, one sitting on bench with ankle injury, the other couldn't throw it in the ocean if he was standing on the beach". I dont like pitting players against one another not good for any reason but being as he he made a statement like that would have been a good time to hold him accountable.

Those have all been since he got here.

More recently:

Players don't seem to have the same fire as his early teams. Mitchell laughing before missing the most critical FTs in the game wouldn't have happened earlier in his career.

Failing to adapt to modern basketball. We seemed to have changed this year, then Saturday we reverted to posting up players who aren't post players.

No matter how you shoot, if you're off ball you spot up for a three and if you are open you are supposed to take it...even if you are a poor three point shooter, and in a crazy coincidence the other team always seems to leave our poor shooters open.
