The altercation at the end was caused by Frears very slyly flipping his arm out trying to hit Garrison in the groin as he ran by him under the basket as the horn went off. Lots of cheap shots by Okie during the game.
What's getting old is seeing officials run up to a Kentucky player and warn them about something every game. It seems like they have no tolerance for our players getting a little chippy with things being said by both teams, I don't ever see them talking to opposing players when they start hot dogging or mouthing off to our players like they were doing all night. Also, whoever the idiot was that threw the bottle at Garrison, needs to be identified and banned from coming back in that building, if it was a Kentucky fan who did something like that it would have been big news. It really looks like there is some truth to "Kentucky against all y'all". We bring out the best in every team we play and the worst in the officials. Oklahoma has not shot the three like that all year, you can't say Kentucky ever sneaks up on any team. Everybody is locked and loaded when Kentucky comes to town.
After Moore made a fall away jumper in the lane, he was yelling at Garrison all the way down the court "you can't guard me"- not sure why he wasn't given a technical- it was very obvious
We had one in Kerr.. He probably would have helped escalate this to bigger than it was lol. And I would have been all for it.
Edit: NVM, I misconstrued what you meant. Still, I'd love to have Kerr in there to be that type of guy.

Agree but that doesn't change the way he acted last night. It's not an indictment on his game or skills, he's just immature and acts like a crybaby. Just like Broome but JB has earned a right to whine and work the refs, Fears not so much yet.
Reading your comment, catben, I'm reminded of the Arkansas game.
It struck me as an example of exactly what I was saying when you get to a point of it becoming motivational for other players (as well as coaches ... ahem) when it happens to them and the kind of EFFORT those players that are getting treated that way and how they perform.
Some posters on here either don't seem to understand or accept, or have never played in those kind of hostile conditions before and actually RESPONDED by playing well, that it DOES motivate the hell out of these young men that get on the floor and perform well with the opposition (fans, players, whomever) chirping all game long.
We should have recognized that could happen, taken away that aspect of motivation, and stayed focused on giving them as little as possible for bulletin board material. But it's over now. It shouldn't be a factor moving forward playing Arkansas again. And there will be yet another reason why we will win when we do play them.
It just amazes me, after watching 50 years college basketball, that some of our fans don't seem to understand that it DOES MOTIVATE PLAYERS TO PUT IN MORE EFFORT AND PLAY BETTER when you are getting talked to and yapped at the entire game.
Oweh and Garrison stood up to it and passed the test with flying colors last night.
