Can only hope that Stoops will be waving goodbye after he cleans out his office. That will be a great start to next season.
My guess is massive transfers and recruiting class looking shaky.
Doesn’t make me real encouraged about an inspired performance tomorrow.

There's been no indication...NONE, that recruiting class is falling apart. Wed, Dec 4, is signing day so we'll find out.

It just means that some of our potential older quality players are entering transfer portal and probably 3 or more coaches will be shown the door. If you have been listening to Stoops recently that is obviously the plan. Remember, Indiana had 50 new players on its roster this year. So did Colorado. I think that will be the "new" approach Stoops is going to adapt.

Well, he needs to try SOMETHING. Because I see Stoops next year as his last shot. Fans are already not happy with the direction of the program. A win tomorrow at least gives you a nice end to the year, but lose, and lose bad? He's gonna have to take some drastic steps.
And if he doesn't fire the OL coach, his behind should be shown the door.
Kinda depends on who those transfers are, doesn't it? If they're mostly up and coming talents and veterans who've played well and have eligibility remaining, but are tired of playing for a declining program that's poorly coached and ill-disciplined leadership-wise...well, then that would suck.
If it's locker room cancers, then that's addition by subtraction. But that wouldn't be cause for concern...
As to recruiting, we'll see soon. Hopefully the class holds together.
Yeah, see, I don't think we have a major personnel issue. I think we have a major coaching issue.
The problem is it will be the guys that can and are helping you.
If I had to guess, Brad white may be moving on. That’s honestly bad news. We will already need to rebuild the roster so it will help to have some stability on that side of the ball. White leaving certainly wouldn’t help us keep the recruiting class intact.

3. The staff ain’t sparkling butStoops is the biggest dead weight. Outside of Buffano maybe Wilford…what big gain will you get as Stoops is in year 13 and decline. A good up and comer ain’t moving to UK
Players wise….we already expect to lose guys like Deone Walker, Hairston, Key, Barion etc along with a good Sr class.
You can’t start losing some younger defensive guys that were highly touted and Boley , Wilcox, Gilmore etc. while they will take lumps in 2025…they are the backbone of when Ky can start winning again
All in all..simply a mess Mitch allowed with this absurd contract he gives. Just give ancodch five years and if they aren’t cutting it…move on. Or here is a novel idea..if a coach leaves for Texas am…redo the whole contract. The position we’re in is on Mitch

Rowland tried to give a 'what to look for in the off season" a couple of days ago but was more confusing than anything else. One paragraph said Stoops would hit the portal hard but he followed that up by another paragraph stating UK wouldn't be making as many moves as first thought. I admit to being dense but I failed to grasp what he was talking about.
Almost has to be that and/or marrow. I don't think radically different would fit any other scenario.
If that's the case, fans once again get their wish in running off a great coordinator and the program will again be worse off for it.

Stoops deserves blame too for sure. He knew bringing back coen was at best a year fix. Rehired wolf. Hired bush when coen predictably left us high and dry.
Unless another insanely beneficial Arkansas situation comes around, we might be losing one if not two very key staff with noone ready to step up.

Wouldn’t surprise me if offensive side is cleaned out. Don’t think it would be fair to boot BH after one season but I do think he may have to tell CMS he needs his people to recruit, develop, coach players for his system.
If White leaves I don’t think it’s necessarily bad news. It helps with assistant recruitment for guys to go to bigger jobs. White was a NFL position coach when Stoops brought him on.

F**k Matt Jones, I live in iowa 20 minutes from Iowa city where the KSR show is going to be on Monday and I have been a Ky fan for over 60 years. I’m am not going to the show. Matt is a pos more then anything
Im not a fan at all but i think its important to note a few things:
1) up till this year, jones had impeccable info straight from the source.
2) at some point during the off-season, he fell out with the staff. Not sure why. Either way he clearly didn't have info this season.
3) if hes shut out, the only person with info would be ryan through dane.
So im going to deduce the "drastic" change is going to be on that side of the ball. Losing a 1st year oc imo doesn't amount to "drastic" so it must be more.
Either we're losing a bunch of transfers because bush is coming back and/or marrow is leaving. I don't know anything else that would qualify as "drastic". Of course that assumes it isn't stoops leaving.
Mitch hired Pope. If he hires Sumrall I'm sure most of this fanbase would be happy.
Stoops isn't going anywhere though so expect more of the same nonsense going forward. 6 and 6 or 7 and 5 type years will be the high point.
