He'd have to play at least 20 minutes a game. Even then his lack of offense makes it tough to feel good about setting a minimum point total. I think he can get the rebounds though.

I can assure you almost no chance he will average exactly those numbers. Might be higher. Maybe lower. Not exactly those.

Would love see Lee make somewhat of a jump into his junior year like WCS did. No, I don't think he'll work his way into a top 10 pick, but he has the tools to be a game changer on the defensive end. Just needs to learn to control all that energy and work on his timing. He still has a long way to go offensively, but hopefully he's putting in a good amt of work this summer.

I think those numbers are actually doable for him. A big thing is making free throws.i forgot what his % was last year but I remember it was very low.

No.

I expect him to double his minutes and thus double his production, so I expect between 5-6 points and 5-6 rebounds per game.

I think that is realistic.

This. I don't doubt that Marcus will score in double figures a couple of times. But to average 7, he will need a jump shot. He sure won't get them at the free throw line.

It's odd we have not heard anything about Lee this summer at least I have not. Anyone heard anything?

I don't see him getting much playing time this year. Too much talent ahead of him. But if we have injuries or other disasters that keep some of our starters from playing, I'm sure he's capable of it

guarantee every member of KISS right now, probably even Ace Frehley and Peter Criss (wherever they are) could shoot 60% from the FT line.

I got you but I was referring to; Keep It Simple Stupid... :)

I never could jump off my toes but I could hit 60% at the line. of course my fingers aren't 8 or 10 inches long....

If he gets the minutes he can do it but like others have said look who is in front of him, I'm hoping he will have a breakout year

Once people get something in their head it cant get out. LEE cant shoot free throws is all i hear...have you seen the bricks Briscoe has thrown up there??? People improve

Briscoe was 3-4, he also has won a 3pt contest this year. Briscoe has proven he can shoot.

Lee was 0-1. Marcus has to show he can do it.

Maybe try again later?

Marcus played 16 mins vs Ottawa.

NAIA team with only one player over 6'6 - O'con, a 6'8 350 pounder.

Lee had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Solid numbers.

However:

Skal only played 22 mins.

Poy and Humphries only 17 mins.

Poy and Skal will play more mins, and better competition is coming.

Lee will have to work hard to get numbers and make improvements.

Kinda sad but…no.

I honestly want Isaac to take his minutes. In the all the scrimmages, i haven't seen any improvement on either end.

Lee will have some "disappearing act" games that will keep his season averages down. I think those numbers are pretty good over-unders, but right now I'm leaning no.

Will Lee be consistent on boards and scoring? I think he is capable of doing tremendous scoring around the basket...thats if he can get open and get the ball several times or run a play to create space for an alley oop.

I'll go with 5.8 points and 4.7 rebounds. Oh, and 1.2 blocks. And two really impressive put back dunks in the UofL game. And another hair cut by January.

It sucks, heart wants to say yes. But my brain is truth and no he won't. I'm sure he will have a few double digit scoring and hopefully a few more double digit rebound games. I just dont think he has the game yet to maintain the consistency necessary for those averages. As many others have stated, he needs to find a jumper and make some free throws. I would love to eat crow at season's end mind you.

With the guards we have I could see him getting close to these numbers. Ulis will feed the big men inside a lot this year.

To many great passers for him to get 6-10 any given night plus if he is the starting 4. I think he could easily average that.

Imo Marcus Lee is a clean up player. 50-50 balls, put backs, rebounds, and defence. Offence just isn't him. Has a hard time creating his shot.

I think he can rebound at that rate, but I'm not sure he is going to score as many points. Lee will score mostly from putbacks and lob plays. He still doesn't have much of a post game. If he gets enough minutes, he could do it. He will have games with those stats, but I don't see him with that average. If he does, it will only make our team stronger. If he wants a career in the NBA, he better be trying his best for these stats.
