I love Lynn!! He is a true warrior and team player that truly cares about UK. I loved it when he said Go Big Blue at the end of his interview after the game on the SEC Network!!
It was a hell of a "team win". And Lynn provided the spark that ignited a fire under some of these guy's asses. These guys are going to have to learn how to win without Terry, Benny and Josh. It is nice to see that Lynn has stepped up and assumed the leadership role for this team. And it is equally nice to see the team respond to Lynn's leadership. This team was in a funk, partly due to the loss of Terry and partly because our leaders on both offense and defense were no longer with the team. Now new leaders are emerging and these guys are starting to figure out what it takes to win on their own. It is a positive sign. After those three back to back losses and the prospects of a long season ahead, this team could have easily folded. But they didn't. And Lynn Bowden is one big reason why they didn't. Maybe he can become the heart of this team and carry this team on his back much the same way guys like Benny Snell did in the past by the example they set on the field.
I loved the pure joy out of Lynn last night. He seems like kind of a tortured soul sometimes, i sense that he struggles to stay positive in life. It's great to see him cut loose and really enjoy playing football and all that comes with it.
Thanks. I just watched on TV, but there seemed to be a lot of positive energy in CW last night from a great crowd. It was definitely an ocean of white towels. Maybe he felt it. Glory to God for this spectacular October day, and even though I realize some of you may be Titan fans the Broncos might even win.
I went to church with a man who had been a Chaplin in the Army's Delta Force. He was hard as nails and sometimes used language that would make a sailor blush, but he loved the Lord and shared that love with his fellows. He was as tough as any other man in Delta Force.
I enjoyed watching Bowden.
