Lets Talk BIG BOYS (recruits)

Just a matter of time, Monk will be a Kentucky Wildcat. Calipari stopped recruiting Maker and Azubuike months ago. It's possible they could pop up again on Kentucky's radar in the spring, but I doubt it. I'm not sure if Calipari is still recruiting Bolden. Bolden's sudden increase in interest in Big 12 schools may reflect Calipari backing off, but that isn't clear yet. I think we are still all in on Allen's and Adebayo's recruitment, but don't know if we will get either of them. Remember how Humphries popped up on Calipari's radar over the summer? Something like that could happen again late in the next recruiting season. But not Ayton. Aside from a few unsubstantiated rumors in the non mainstream press, there is no credible reason to believe Ayton will reclassify, and no specific reason to believe he is leaning toward Kentucky.

Just curious, why do you keep listing Wynyard as part of the 2016 recruiting class? Wynyard will be on the team this year, so that makes him a 2015, right?

If he attends class next January, he is a member of the Class of 2015 even if he doesn't play in the 2015-16 Season. And, the 2015-16 season would count as his first year of five years to play four seasons. This season if he enrolls in January (and doesn't play basketball) would be his Red Shirt year.

Bam is much more into UK then most think/assume. This is a deal where parties are split (despite what you've read) and UK has a chance. Again, I've got no dog in this fight--but have enjoyed talking basketball/recruiting with people here, so wanted to pass this on.

Going to bump this up as I've been told all along this was possible. If UK pulls this off tomorrow-CONGRATS and as of 12:12 am cst when I'm typing this, Bam is UK bound. This comes from same friend of mine in industry and he's been consistent saying UK was in this far more then people thought. Bam has had UK #1 for some time--it was about convincing others--and apparently he got go ahead to do so.

For the fans of other teams, I'm not trolling or starting anything. De'Aaron Fox was insight I had (BTW UK fans--go check out his former HS teammate Keilon Price's twitter account when he congratulated De'Aaron on his decision--he was one who tipped off my friend about Fox being UK's once they offered), Monk is another (as of today--still UK bound), and Bam would be TKO (no pun intended) to a great class. Kid is a warrior on court and this will make my friend quite happy (he's a UK fan and has very good insight/works in industry). Just passing on some info and good luck tomorrow and tomorrow night against Duke.
